Cloudy with a few showers this afternoon

Happy Saturday, DMV! Today will be a cloudy but warm day in the region. Clouds will continue to build through the area, with a few morning showers possible north and west of DC.

Mainly cloudy, and a breezy day will be in store for your Saturday. A weak warm front will continue to lift through the region today, which could spark up isolated showers and a few storms this afternoon. Breezy southerly flow will move through the area with winds gusting between 15 and 20 mph, which will help boost our temperatures. Highs this afternoon will once again be warm, reaching into the 70s.

Tonight, dry conditions will return to the DMV under partly cloudy skies. Lows will dip into the 50s. Tomorrow morning will be a mild start to the day, with more sunshine expected through the day. Mother’s Day Brunch forecast is not looking too bad as highs are expected to reach into the 70s to 80s. However, we do have another chance of a few isolated showers tomorrow afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. Once again, not expected a washout tomorrow as rain will be light and isolated in the area.

Monday will be gray, wet, and cooler day, so make sure to keep the umbrella close by. The cold front will finally push through by Monday. Steadier rain could be possible Monday, with temperatures struggling to get out of the 60s.
