CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in northwest Charlotte.
The shooting happened on Old Forester Lane, off Mt. Holly Road, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirms. Roughly 30 to 40 shell casings were found in the backyard, investigators say. A bullet hole can be seen in the window. The backyard door is completely shattered.
