GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – York Confections chocolate shop celebrated its grand opening in Stanardsville Saturday morning, May 9.
“I wanted to kind of bring this little European taste of Europe but to Shenandoah Mountains and incorporate some of the local products like honey, our local wine berries,” said Angela York, owner of York Confections. “To purchase as much local as we can and incorporate that into our products and bring in the community for a place to gather and just have a little bite of chocolate joy.”
