NORTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was killed in an early morning crash that shut down part of Interstate 85 South in west Charlotte on Saturday, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near Little Rock Road before 3 a.m. after reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Troopers said the pedestrian was struck and killed. Additional details about the victim and the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released…
