RUTHERFORD CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – Middle Tennessee Electric said it is set to being a power line relocation project in Rutherford County Monday.
On Monday, May 11, crews will begin relocating the existing power lines that run through the Stones River National Battlefield property to the roadway along Wilkinson Pike and N. Thompson Lane.
The utility said the relocation will allow crews easier access to the lines and more efficient maintenance.
“Traffic control measures will be in place throughout the project, including lane shifts or temporary delays,” MTE said. “Drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution when traveling through the work zone for the safety of our crews.”…
