Sacramento (PSN)- A man was hospitalized early Saturday morning following a stabbing incident in the Old Sacramento area, according to observations by Public Safety News and information released by the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Front St., near the south end of Old Sacramento.
According to PSN observations, Sacramento police officers initially began responding to reports of a large crowd gathering in the area that required dispersal. As officers were responding, additional reports came in regarding a related stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located a 20-year-old male suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds to the neck and arm. Officers immediately initiated medical treatment, attempting to control the bleeding.
