SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Fire crews battled a major blaze Saturday morning at the San Diego Mission Bay Boat & Ski Club, leaving the building with significant damage and prompting a safety closure.
According to San Diego Fire-Rescue officials, a call came in around 4 a.m. reporting smoke and flames at the club, which is located at 2606 N. Mission Bay Drive.
Responding crews found an active fire in the rear outdoor patio area of the building. The fire had also spread into the structure and in a concealed space between the roof and attic.
