Driver hurt by shrapnel after bullet hits car windshield on Bangerter Highway

WEST JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — A driver traveling on Bangerter Highway in Salt Lake County was injured by shrapnel after a bullet hit his windshield.

A 36-year-old man was driving on the highway between 7800 S and 9000 S on Friday night when someone fired a gun at his vehicle, according to officials with the Utah Highway Patrol.
