NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority Board of Commissioners took action to remove CEO Lona Edwards Hankins and begin a national search for new leadership, according to the RTA.
The board passed a resolution invalidating a previously amended contract with Hankins. The board authorized Chair Ann Duplessis to negotiate a separation agreement with Hankins on behalf of the agency.
