12-year-old rescued after drifting down river in Clarksville

A 12-year-old boy was safely rescued Sunday afternoon after drifting down the river on a raft in Clarksville, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue.

Officials said crews were dispatched just before 3:30 p.m. for a water rescue after the child’s father reported he had not seen his son in nearly an hour. The boy was last seen on a raft near Robert Clark Park.
