Man arrested after allegedly throwing cat at bookshelf in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested after he reportedly threw a cat into a bookshelf, unprovoked, according to an arrest affidavit.

On May 8, around 11 a.m., officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to 5042 Linbar Drive after a disturbance at 2425 Atrium Way.

Officers spoke with a woman who explained her roommate, and former partner, 35-year-old Laplavon Howell was moving out on May 8. As the move out date got closer, Howell reportedly began to get more “threatening.”…
