ST. LOUIS — Gas prices continue to rise in Missouri and Illinois, with some Metro East stations reaching $5 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.
The average price of gas in St. Louis rose 23.1 cents per gallon in the last week, making the average $4.43, according to GasBuddy’s survey of nearly 1,000 St. Louis gas stations. The cheapest station in the city was $3.99 on Sunday, while the most expensive was $4.99. The average price in Missouri is $4.18, up from 17.8 cents per gallon from last week.
