Huntsville man, 71, sentenced to 30 months for role in multistate cocaine trafficking operation

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A 71-year-old Huntsville man has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for his role in a multistate cocaine trafficking operation, the U.S. Department of Justice announced.

James Walker was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine following an investigation that traced bulk drug shipments from the South to multiple cities across the country, including Buffalo, N.Y., Cleveland, and New York City.
