Gov. Lee announces changes to his administration

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Gov. Bill Lee announced that Erin Merrick will leave the Governor’s Office for the private sector in early July after over 7 years.

Merrick has served in multiple roles during her time in the office, including most recently as Chief Legal Counsel to the Governor.

“Since the early days of the Lee Administration, Erin has been an invaluable member of our team and a trusted advisor, offering wise counsel and steady leadership,” said Gov. Lee. “Her commitment to excellence and deep understanding of the law has served Tennesseans well.
