BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two Osterburg women were arrested after hundreds of baggies of Xylazine, also known as “tranq,” were found during a traffic stop.
Jennifer Virginia Sell, 46, and Anna Margaret Strayer, 44, were charged with possession with intent to deliver after being pulled over in West Saint Clair Township May 8, just before 12:30 a.m. The duo alleged they were returning from Pittsburgh, where they were breeding a dog.
According to the criminal complaint, Strayer and Sell were asked questions, separately, about where they went in Pittsburgh. Sell alleged that they went to a bi-level apartment building where their friend lived on the first floor. Strayer, however, claimed it was a home with a few floors, but not an apartment. Troopers also noticed the driver’s hands were shaking, she was sweating, and had a history of drug charges…
