KROTZ SPRINGS, La. (NEWS 15) — A Port Barre woman was arrested on an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting at a man during a late-night disturbance near Krotz Springs, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Raneill Cortez, 52, of Port Barre, is charged with attempted second-degree murder and illegal carrying of weapons while committing a crime of violence.
