CARENCRO, La. (NEWS 15) — A massive fire destroyed a mechanic shop in Carencro, sending thick black smoke and heavy flames shooting into the sky just before noon, according to the Carencro Fire Department.
“At 11:30 this morning, we got a call for a commercial fire,” said Carencro Fire Chief David Mouton. “When we arrived on scene, it was fully involved. It’s a mechanic shop.”
