Shreveport man wanted for allegedly strangling woman, pointing gun in her face

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Shreveport Police Department is trying to find a man wanted in connection with a violent domestic incident.

Police say on March 17, a family member of the victim called police after the victim asked for officers to be sent to her house. When officers got there, they talked to the victim, who had visible bruises and scratches on her body.

Police say the victim told them that her child’s father, Deontae Marsh, 22, assaulted her and strangled her inside the house. The victim also claimed Marsh pointed a gun in her face and threatened to shoot her before leaving the house…
