ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man has been convicted of a drug charge after law enforcement said he threw fentanyl pills out of a moving car while fleeing from officers in the Portales area.
Tevin King, 33, had an active federal arrest warrant in August 2024 related to a supervised release violation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Mexico stated in a news release. Federal law enforcement agents learned that King was inside a vehicle at a gas station in Portales and that he fled from agents in the vehicle.
