In the latest news from North Plains City Hall, the small town will again say goodbye to a city leader in a continuing stretch of turnover that has unfolded over the past year.
City Councilor Katie Reding resigned Thursday, May 7, citing a growing need to focus on a family health issue, city officials announced.
“At this time, I cannot responsibly give this role the focus and energy that the community deserves, and my priority must be my family,” Reding said in a statement released by the city. “I did not run for office out of political ambition. I stepped forward because I care deeply about North Plains and believed thoughtful, engaged leadership was needed during an important period for our city.”…
