NEW YORK (PIX11) — The race for New York’s 10th Congressional District in Manhattan and Brooklyn is intensifying as top New York Democratic leaders line up behind competing candidates.
With six weeks remaining before the Democratic primary, incumbent Congressman Dan Goldman is facing a strong challenge from former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander.

Governor Kathy Hochul appeared with Goldman at a rally in lower Manhattan alongside labor unions backing the two-term congressman. Hochul praised Goldman’s role in the first impeachment of President Donald Trump, and a champion for union jobs.
“When I’m knocking doors, nobody is asking me about the mayor or the governor,” Goldman said, downplaying any Governor vs. Mayor overtones to his race. “They’re asking me about my agenda and whatever my opponent is saying.”…
