‘A day without childcare’: 200 Salt Lake City parents and providers strike for universal childcare

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — 200 Utah parents, childcare providers, and allies went on strike on Monday as part of a nationwide strike advocating for universal childcare.

On Monday, Salt Lake City joined a “Day Without Childcare,” Community Change Action’ s nationwide attempt at garnering support from local legislators on their mission to achieve universal childcare.
