Six Springfield students honored for multilingual mastery

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WKEF) — Six high schoolers in Springfield have earned Ohio’s Seal of Biliteracy.

The Springfield City School District shared that the following students earned the honor this year:

  • Rihanna Antoine, French
  • Emerson Babian, Spanish
  • Alicia Geneus, Spanish & French
  • Jennifer Mesquite, Spanish
  • Guerlancia Notis, Haitian Creole & French
  • Edson Paul, Haitian Creole & French

Getting an Ohio Seal of Biliteracy means that a student can demonstrate high levels of proficiency in English and at least one other world language.
