EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden announced the birth of a Humboldt penguin chick. The zoo named the baby penguin Wensleydale, though staff members call him Dale.
Zoo officials said Dale was born in February to parents Prince and Calypso and is almost ready to meet visitors at the zoo.
