City changes downtown parking rules after talks with business owners

KALAMAZOO, MI — The city of Kalamazoo has announced changes to parking rules meant to improve the experience of being downtown.

The new rules include 30 minutes of free parking at every paid on-street parking space, reduced parking enforcement hours ending at 5 p.m. and expanded maximum time limits.
