Villager facing shoplifting charge after alleged price tag switching incident

A Villager is facing a shoplifting charge after an alleged price tag switching incident.

Steven Robert Braun, 67, of the Village of St. Catherine, was arrested Monday at Target at Trailwinds Village.

He allegedly removed the price tags from five shirts and replaced them with price tags from pairs of socks. The socks had price tags of $6.99 each, while each of the shirts was priced at $30, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
