SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — It was a day hundreds of loyal customers thought would never come — the reopening of the beloved Las Cuatro Milpas restaurant in Barrio Logan.
Six months ago, news that the family-owned authentic Mexican restaurant was under a huge tax lien seemed to touch everybody in San Diego, from working-class folks to city leaders.

But the Estudillo family got things together and sure enough, in a new location, the line was huge for the grand reopening. Over 100 people lined up outside the restaurant for the ribbon cutting Tuesday morning, the first person in line was a Tijuana resident who got up just after 1 a.m.
The restaurant reopened at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 at its new location at 1985 National Avenue Suite 1131, just a few blocks from the original, long-time Logan Avenue location…
