An asphalt storage tank caught fire at the Pin Oak Terminals facility in Corpus Christi, Texas Monday as severe weather swept through the area leaving officials to believe the blaze ended up started by a lightning strike.
Severe thunderstorms swept through the Coastal Bend with wind gusts up to 60 mph, with widespread lightning, leaving over 11,000 customers without power in Nueces County, officials said.
