A man was arrested Monday after a shooting in Commerce City left an 86-year-old bystander in critical condition.
The Commerce City Police Department first notified the public about the shooting at about 4:45 p.m. Monday, as officers issued a shelter-in-place order and searched the area near 60th Street and Monaco Street for the shooter. Police said the suspect was firing at two people across the street when a woman sitting in her car at the intersection was struck and critically wounded.
The woman was taken to a hospital. She is expected to survive her injuries, police said…
