Henderson County leaders take a stand on alternative energy

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHTY) — Henderson County has officially approved a two-year extension on a moratorium that pauses any new battery energy storage systems contracts coming to the area.

Residents in attendance reacted positively saying the storage systems could be dangerous to those living in the county.
