$2.7 billion hypersonic missile contract goes to firm with Huntsville presence

The U.S. Army has awarded Leidos a $2.7 billion hypersonic weapon contract.

Leidos will combine components of Navy and Army hypersonic programs to streamline development and accelerate delivery, the company, which has an office in Huntsville, said in a May 12 press release.
