A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Wednesday at 12:09 a.m. EDT for strong winds until 1:15 a.m. EDT for Van Buren and Kalamazoo counties.
Residents can anticipate wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 12:09 a.m., Doppler radar tracked strong winds along a line extending from near Middleville to 6 miles west of Allegan to 15 miles west of Van Buren SP. Movement was southeast at 35 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
