SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — An East County man who severely injured a 12-year-old boy in a hit-and-run crash in El Cajon was sentenced Tuesday to state prison after pleading guilty in the case.
Dani Korkis received a sentence of four years and eight months in state prison for the hit-and-run crash, as well as two separate cases involving charges of evading a police officer.
The victim’s family did not attend the sentencing hearing, and Korkis did not address the court. His attorney, Greg Turner, said Korkis was remorseful…
