DOVER — A full 6 cents more than in New Castle, and a little more than 2 cents higher than Sussex County, Kent County is the most expensive place to buy gas in the state for the second week in a row, according to Delaware AAA.
As for the average price at the pump, customers are lucky if the rate increased only 7 cents per gallon since last week, which it did for regular. Mid-grade gas jumped 12 cents to an average of $4.88, and premium is a dime more expensive here than it was last week, AAA found.
Diesel customers, however, continued to see a small decline from $5.55 per gallon last week to $5.53 this week. This is down from $5.86 one month ago…
