9 dead animals discovered outside home, charges filed

TUNKHANNOCK TWP., MONROE COUNTY(WBRE/WYOU) — Two people are facing charges after police say they discovered nine dead animals outside of a home they were renting.

Investigators stated they were called by a property owner claiming his previous tenant, Emanuel Santos, 35, and Mirayda Santos Ramos, 34, of Allentown, had left the property with multiple dead animals at the residence.

Police discovered that outside was a coop filled with seven dead chickens, and throughout the yard, officers found a dead duck and rabbit, as stated in the affidavit.
