AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Wednesday morning at 8:23am, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1800 block of Wylds Road for pedestrian hit by a train.
Investigators determined that a woman had been laying or sitting on the train tracks and as the train approached, she attempted to get out the way, but was hit.
She was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries…
