ATHENS, Ala. — Huntsville Hospital Health System is expanding access to advanced MRI imaging for patients with pacemakers and implantable defibrillators, bringing faster and more convenient diagnostic care to communities across North Alabama.
Athens-Limestone Hospital is the latest facility in the system to offer the specialized MRI capability, joining Huntsville Hospital and Madison Hospital. The expansion pushes the service beyond Madison County and increases regional access to imaging that was once difficult to obtain for many cardiac patients.
