LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Lexington 9th District Council candidate Matt Miniard, 69, has had his assault charges amended down by a grand jury.
Miniard was arrested February 14 after police say he was on top of the victim and struck them multiple times while holding them down.
His charges have been lowered from second degree assault to fourth (minor injury). The amended charge is a misdemeanor, and Miniard is scheduled for arraignment June 3…
