LINN COUNTY, Iowa — One driver was taken by ambulance with serious, life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash at Highway 13 and Burnett Station Road, officials said.
According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and emergency crews were called to the intersection at about 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, for a crash involving injuries.
Officials said a gray 2019 Toyota Camry driven by Lois Schantz was attempting to turn from Highway 13 onto Burnett Station Road when it failed to yield. A tan 2021 tractor driven by Brandon Ries was traveling south on Highway 13 when the vehicles collided, according to officials…
