DES MOINES, Iowa — A crash on Des Moines’ northwest side left a motorcyclist critically injured Wednesday afternoon.

According to a post on X, the Des Moines Police Department and Des Moines Fire Department responded to a crash just before 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 42nd Street and University Avenue.
The DMPD said that the motorcyclist suffered critical injuries.
