‘It never goes away,’ family still seeking justice over 8 years after unsolved murder

ABILENE, Texas — It’s been more than eight years since 20-year-old Jeannie Quinn was found dead, murdered, hanging with a “hard wire” twisted around her neck in Abilene.

KTXS spoke with Jeannie’s uncle, John Quinn, who said their family is not giving up on finding justice.

“She was a very, very sweet, innocent girl,” John said. “Not a mean bone in her body. Loved to laugh, she had a silly laugh.”
