Greeley Police: ‘The Prize Catch’ bronze statue stolen from park

GREELEY, Colo. — A piece of local art is missing from a Greeley park.

The Greeley Police Department said “The Prize Catch,” a life-size bronze statue, was stolen from Glenmere Park around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said thieves reportedly cut the statue off at the feet to remove it from its base. A white box truck was spotted in the immediate area at the time of the theft and is believed to be involved, police said…
