TROY — For Mayor Carmella Mantello, breathing new life into a forsaken retail site presents a broader opportunity for Lansingburgh’s northern corridor.
Plans to replace an abandoned Price Chopper and Burger King with 200 mixed-income, riverfront units and more than 10,000 square feet of commercial space, as Mantello sees it, is part of a broader “gateway” project that could draw in outside investment.
