GROVETOWN, Ga (WJBF)- It was a big day in Columbia County. That’s because Wellstar MCG Health is getting closer to opening the doors to its newest hospital.
With only a few months to go until the new hospital officially opens, Wellstar Health System is giving an inside look at the new facility and how it will impact the community.
“It is phenomenal to get this level of substantial completion with construction, because that means that we’re that much closer to increasing access to care across the CSRA,” said Dr. Ralph D. Turner, the President at Wellstar MCG Health.
Most of the major construction on the hospital is complete. Now they are looking at bringing in furniture and equipment. Hospital leaders said the new facility is a big deal for Columbia County…
