Jefferson Avenue Corridor seeing changes 4 years after Buffalo mass shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. β€” Thursday marks four years since 10 Black people were gunned down in a supermarket on the east side of Buffalo. The racially motivated mass shooting forced Buffalo to take a look in the mirror. Many did not like what they saw.

What took place there was the result of years of segregation, discrimination and redlining. The shooter chose the east side because of how many Black people called it home. Four years later, what was promised is being delivered.
