After a fun trip to the U.S. side of Niagara Falls last year, Christine LaChance began planning a visit to the Canadian side. All she needed was her passport.
It seemed simple enough, except for one issue — she had an incomplete birth certificate.
LaChance, of Uxbridge, was born at her family’s home in Medway on Nov. 4, 1969, delivered by Medway Police officers and later taken to the Milford Hospital (now Milford Regional Medical Center). Somehow, her birth certificate was never done correctly, something LaChance did not discover until March after applying for her passport…
