Six emaciated horses seized from Wayne County sanctuary

MEDINA, Ohio — Six horses seized from a Wayne County property earlier this month are now receiving emergency care at a Medina County animal sanctuary.

According to a Wayne County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies were called May 5 to a property on Burbank Road near Pleasant Home Road regarding horses at an animal sanctuary identified in the report as Mending Hearts Sanctuary, formerly Life’s Little Adventures Sanctuary.
