De Nada, a new Mexican restaurant in Birmingham, aims to forge a reputation as a destination eatery known for its outstanding food, lovely decor and friendly, attentive service.
Just three weeks into its tenure at 1300 Second Ave. South, De Nada appears to be well on its way, as owner Armando Martinez oversees his passion project — the very first restaurant he’s created from scratch.
“The vibe we’re going for here is upscale casual,” said Martinez, 33. “We want it to be a little bit elevated, but we don’t want to be too fancy to party a little bit and have a good time.”
