The Hall County Board of Commissioners discussed a new $350,000 fire station at Monday’s work session meeting.
All they need to do now is approve the consent agenda Thursday night and the purchase of 2.73-acres of land on Gould Road will go through.
The new station is off of McEver Road, and just across the street from Hall County Fire Station 4, which was built in 1973 and remodeled in 1998.
The project will be paid for out of the capital projects fund. The county got Metro Appraisals to give them a land valuation for 3111 and 3121 Gould Road from Eddie and Sandra Mimbs back in January for a price of $2,800…
