ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Two people familiar to Roanoke residents are running to get back on the Roanoke City Council.
Former Roanoke City Council Member and mayoral candidate Stephanie Moon Reynolds was elected to Council in 2020 as an Independent candidate and ran for mayor in 2024, losing the Mayoral race.
“As a lifelong Roanoke resident with more than 42 years of municipal government experience, service has always defined my work,” Moon Reynolds said. “I was raised in Roanoke and built my career serving communities like ours, and I understand how important it is that local government stay focused on people, not politics. I am running because Roanoke deserves experienced leadership that listens, responds, and delivers.”
